Touge

I speak of discipline in driving, besides being a sport is a pastime of many fans of Japanese cars!

Toge (峠) is a Japanese word that literally means "step." It refers to a mountain pass or any of the narrow, winding streets that are located in and around le montagne del Giappone e di altre zone geograficamente simili.

Cat and Mouse / Sudden Death

Straight up

Random battle
A challenge is communicated through the use of emergency lights. So according to the road, the use of one of two types of battle above.

Ghost Battle or Time Attack
A challenge in which a machine to do the fastest time from beginning to end, the opponent has groped to beat the other drivers in time.

From this increase in popularity, the term has been hijacked and abused by zealous fans (often incorrectly as a verb) erroneously described as almost all events that involve street racing (Tough)! Maybe even when you do not run seriously!

Another common mistake is the association with Touge drifting, which implies that sometimes words have a common definition. While drift is considered a style or form of leadership, tough is not necessarily a binding relationship with the drift. The drift can be used on Touge to prevent the tracker to follow the correct line of the car driving. In short, the Tough and as a rally on tarmac!

In the Media In the media
the Touge is represented in a very popular manga (Intial D) from here it was adapted into a film in the video game Need for Speed \u200b\u200bCarbon and Race Driver Grid

The races are drifting but most are born in the rally racing in this illegal and dangerous, the drifting (drift) were used to get fast in the curve without losing control of the vehicle because you control the crush; dangerous because unfortunately there have been accidents, people who ended up down the ravines, the people who made front with machines that came on the other end of the road, so many spins. .. These courses are at night and by day anceh but most of the night! As there are many victims of the events are organized to run safely!

you place the video to see this famous car culture in japan!
